Located just round the corner off the Hanoman Street, Bunute is probably one of the best places to spend a relaxing evening in Ubud. Spare your disco time and head-banging sessions for Kuta, Ubud is more like a place where people would just sit down and probably have some beer and chat with other travelers while listening to (or rather watching)a live band.
My idea of relaxing every time I go traveling is a combination of good beer for my throat, OPEN AIR for my nose and lungs and good music preferably live band performances for my ear and soul. Bunute seem to have them all.
It was Saturday and we were lucky because just so happened a group called Moko and Friends were there to perform Blues songs and jeez – how many times do you get to see a band group perform Blues nowadays?
When you see audiences come forward and dance like this, you know that they (Moko and Friends) were doing a great job. They perform like they’ve been doing it their entire life.
Everybody was having fun and I was enjoying every moment of it. Ulai my travel partner on her part was smiling all the time it actually scared me after awhile. LOL.
SO – things had being going really really great for us in Bali so far. Ubud had been great with its spirituality and artistry and beautiful countryside and all but we couldn’t wait to see the other famous part of Bali which is of course – thebeachy part!
Believe me, you wouldn’t want to miss it. 😀
