Riding the Sky in Genting Highlands

SO I was there up at the mountain yesterday to do a little bit of escapade after such a long and tiring week. My sister’s family was here in KL so I tried to be a good host to them by offering myself to be their tour guide and driver at the same time.

.

They actually came up with a last-minute plan of going to Malacca but I had to stay back due to my work commitment. Since my leave was already approved for Friday, I just thought may be I should do a one-day trip to Genting Highland with mom so that it wouldn’t just go to waste. Continue reading

Visiting Bayon & Ta Prohm Temples of Angkor Wat

Bayon and Ta Prohm are two of the most famous temples in Angkor Wat. We went there as part of the Mini Tour together with the grand Angkor Wat itself.

Watching the Sunset at SM Mall of Asia

Watching the famous sunset at Marina Bay is one of the things that anyone should not miss doing when they come to Manila. And of course, if they was one place that I wanted to do it at, it’d be SM Mall of Asia although I was not sure if the ladies were going to like it.  I really thought they were not a big fan of shopping malls.

.

I had to explain to them why we should go there, that it is the biggest shopping mall in Asia and 3rd in the world although I wasn’t sure if the information was still valid (or not). LOL! Continue reading

Returning to Rizal Park

Manila really is a city that doesn’t sleep. We were woken up by a series of loud bangs at 3 in the morning and upon looking out the window, a firework display was brightening the sky over Malate. o.O

Despite being in the same time zone as Malaysia (there’s no/little time difference), the sun rays seem to touch down on Manila earlier then they do in KL or even Sabah. I was surprised to see it was already bright even when it was still 5.30 am !

Good morning Manila !

It was Sunday so there was no way we could skip church when my mom was there (LOL). Continue reading
